Most people will never know what it feels like to be on stage in front of a crowd, what does that feel like?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

There's truly nothing that can beat that feeling! - When you are giving it all you got and sweating and feeling the vibes and energy coming back to you from the crown... That's special.

Describe your typical stage show performance. What might we expect at your show and why we should go?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

You should expect to hear our songs played very fast (much faster sometimes of what we are humanly capable of). We are generally very loose on stage and very down to earth, we joke around and behave as we usually behave. Something always happens that no one would predict, we are really just winging it! If you like shows with extravagant costumes and rehearsed lines between songs, then you won't like our show.

Tell us about your most memorable gig and why it was so great?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

It would have to be every gig at the old Lades Kælder in Copenhagen. This place was the best! - Best shows, best partying!

Tell us about your worst gig and why it was so bad?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

New Years eve 2009! - We were asked to play in a club in Copenhagen with a few other bands, and the venue was a shitty basement area. It was very packed and dense. The other bands all played different kinds of (what we like to call) whine-rock - So we defiantly did not fit in at all. We were told that there would be some back gear available for us, and this was true, the only thing was that none of it worked, so we used 15 minuets getting the amps to work before we could play (this did not go down well with the crowd). The sound guy was a complete asshole and he was no help at all! We started to play our songs, and the sound was terrible. After about one song the crowd started to realize that they didn’t like our music. The duch-bag sound guy starts to walk around on the stage as we are playing (just to draw attention to himself i guess) and he begins to walk in to me deliberately while i am playing, he then starts to mess with my bass and turning the tuning screws while I’m playing. At this time the venue is packed with a bad mood, and this jerk just made it worse. I push him away from me and he falls right in to the drums, tripping over the bas drum. We only get to play 3 songs before we decide to leave the stage. That was a pretty bad gig. But the funny thing is that our drummer Dan was totally psyched and couldn’t understand why we were in such a bad mood - He thought the show was awesome!

Tell Us About Your Dream Gig, who you'd like to play with, where?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

Groezrock Festival in Belgium - The biggest punk rock festival in Europe. If you play here you are guarantied to play with all the greats, and guarantied to have a good time with friendly people all around you. - That would be so awesome!

Do you believe commercial/mainstream music has had a negative effect on new music, why or why not?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

People, who like to listen to commercial and mainstream music, don't really care about music. It's a quick fix, and they are left cold and lonely afterwards. For there people its not about the beauty of the music, it more about getting the newest and hip song/artist before any of your friends do. I have no problem with this music and the people, people can do what ever they like - and a quick fix can be very nice indeed. But I can't stop thinking on all the beauty they are missing out on. For me the music is more about the community around it.

Has the internet really been helpful to your promotion, why or why not?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

The Internet is a fantastic way of promoting shows! - And when we are finished recording our debut album in a few weeks, we are without a doubt going to spam the Internet with WAYL related stuff - So look out!

Can you name a few of your favorite places on the web for band promotions?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

Right now I would have to say Facebook! - But these things change all the time. Facebook is a great way to reach out to people and to let them know what is going on in your world - If you get a few of your fans to share your stuff, you are golden!

Do you have a website, tell us about it?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

We have just made a website not that long ago (www.whatareyoulike.net) We are going to use it as a showcase for our music and videos - We find it's a good idea to have your own page where everything is packed together in a easy to find way. Both our website and our new recordings (done soon) is really just away to draw attention to our selves when writing to other bands for support gigs and festivals.

Do you have a street team and how can you join?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

We have no street team right now. When we are done with our first album, we are defiantly going to look into this - But as for now, we are our own street team !

Are you looking to get a record deal, why or why not?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

I like the idea of keeping it independent. I have knows a lot of bands getting record deals and nothing coming out of it. It has never been easier to record your own music, and getting it out to the people thanks to the Internet, and music software (and hardware). So a record deal? Who needs it.

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

In the close future we are putting out our first album, and we are going to shoot some videos for some of the songs. After this we are planning a tour to promote the album. And after that - just more of the same! Shows, songs and promoting!

WHAT ARE YOU LIKE

We are quite new on Arm The Pit, but we are looking forward to use this fantastic site to promote our selves, and also to check out other cool bands! The underground music scene needs all the help it can get, to get the word out about bands and venues and shows! - Arm The Pit is an important part of this - So thanks to the awesome people at Arm The Pit!
