The dual violin-fronted folk metal band ISENMOR was formed in May 2014 by guitarist Tim Regan, bassist Mike Wilson, and violinists Nicholas Schneider and Miles Waldman; the line up was quickly completed with the addition of BG Drakeley on drums, and Jon Lyon on keyboard. Inspired by folk metal legends ELUVEITIE, HEIDEVOLK, TŬR, and ENSIFERUM; ISENMOR combines intricate violin passages with savage guitar riffs and multi-part vocal harmonies, ISENMOR tells tales of battle, drink, sorrow, and adventure, drawing lyrical inspiration directly from the original sources preserved since the dark ages.
