Lazie.C is a talented hip hop artist from Des Moines, Iowa who has the drive and motivation to be the next big thing from Iowa. Lazie.C born Nick Connett April 11th 1984 grew up on the south side of Des Moines. Oldest son of 3 boys raised by a single mother, father was in the military and always gone. Nick was that quite kid that sat in the back of the class not many friends. Just a kid that always had a creative imagination. Growing up in a house with 2 boys and a single mother that was always working doing her best to provide for her children was difficult to say the least.

Lazie.C started to freestyle rap in 1999 in school just for fun and continued for years after. Then in 2005 Lazie.C decided he wanted to attempt to record some songs he had wrote. With barley any money to get started Lazie.C slowly bought studio equipment teaching him self basic mixing skills. In 2009 Lazie.C recorded and released his fist E.P. titled “Pickin boogaz”. Which was just a small pressed up cd and given to friends. Soon Lazie.C had some what of a buzz building around him.

Shortly after Lazie.C was starting on A full length album which was to be titled “Black sheep of America”. Lazie.C was asked to join “Kornfield Karnies”. Which Lazie.C was already working with the group producing their beats, recording and mixing for them. Lazie.C joined Kornfield Karnies. Lazie.C and the other 3 members of KFK started to work on the “crop circus E.P.”. April 20th 2011 Kornfield Karnies released “Crop circus”. A week later Lazie.C decided to leave the group and continue on his solo career.

His influence started in Des Moines and is spreading across the nation. Lazie.C is on a mission to be his own boss. He wants to be the one in control of his life he’s tired of having to work for some one telling him what hes worth. So now Lazie.C is going full force to make that dream a reality and wont stop until the job is done. He has released his second E.P. “S.W.O.” on iTunes and Amazon.
