Started out with an Acoustic Act. He went on
to form a band and called it Chasing Yesterday. He played his
first show as a band @ a venue called The Roadhouse locally in
Texas.
We filmed that show and transferred the audio to a computer, got
it mastered and put out a 100% D.I.Y. CD. It was an awesome
depiction of what D.I.Y. was all about. The album pressed 500
D.I.Y. cds and in one show with an Alternative band called
Candlebox, the band sold almost all 500 CDs.
Before this show, (I take it back; it was their second show)
but.. Before that they had a show with Limitpoint. The next
time Limitpoint came into town we found another opener who was
called Outcry. These pop-punksters would go on to release the
second release on Cal Rock Records. A 10 Song LP CD got cut to
a 5 Song EP and the band was "Made". We only mastered 2 of the
songs so maybe that's why we only did a 5 Song EP.
We signed a band called Dead Bang Go, and they were kinda bad-
so we signed Genuine Imitations from New York and dropped Dead
Bang Go. The Genuine Imitations were also already popular when
we signed them.
We then signed Tomorrow's Cry- pressed about 1100 cds. The band
did a full U.S. tour and sold about 700. We decided to make a
split and have Chris form his own label to handle his business
with the relationship with Indiepow.
We then signed Kontagen who was the reincarnated Chasing
Yesterday but with the same songwritter/guitarist.
Recently we've signed Enday from Portugal- who mastered their CD
at the same place that recorded/mastered Fall Out Boy back in
the day. I.E. first album stuff..
The label started Acoustic went to Alternative Rock then to
Power Pop/Punk then to Straight Forward Rock then to Punk/Funk
then to Pop Punk.
