November 2007 – Arm The Pit of Austin, TX has announced it will help promote local bands and the local music scene with a CD release featuring all local talent. All Alexandria, LA area bands are invited to be on the CD. There are twenty spots available on the CD and all styles of music are welcome. Arm The Pit has enlisted William Cazes, as the producer for the Hometown Heroes of Alexandria, LA. Wil will be overseeing the production of the cd. All bands wishing to be considered are asked to sign up. A website dedicated to helping all bands get seen and heard.  In addition, all local artists and would be artists are invited to submit artwork for the cover. The cover will be decided by a vote on the cd’s website. As the winning artist, the artist will receive a copy of the cd. The purpose of the cd is not only to help promote the local music scene but also give back to community by donating a portion of the sales to a local cause. Local causes are invited to be part of this by submitting your cause. The cause will be determined by a vote on the website. The CD will be available for sale locally and nationally in music stores and directly from the web from various websites.
